Calibrate audio first
In Audio Setup, play a YouTube video and confirm the input meter moves. If not, switch speaker output until the meter responds.
Run simulator and consent
Complete the first-run audio compliance prompt, then test with the simulator before using OfferAlly in a high-stakes interview.

Is OfferAlly invisible to screen sharing?
OfferAlly is engineered to stay hidden in common Windows capture pipelines using display-affinity controls. Platform and OS behavior can change, so always verify in a practice call before real interviews.
How are credits consumed and when do they expire?
One generated framework uses one credit. Listening or idle time does not consume credits. Current policy: Basic/Beta credits expire after 30 days; Pro credits do not expire. See the Terms page for the latest policy language.
Why does the app say my license key is invalid?
Copy the license from your dashboard exactly, including the OA- prefix. Remove leading/trailing spaces and confirm your account still has credits remaining.
Why do I see the audio compliance modal on first launch?
The desktop app requires explicit consent before enabling live features. By accepting, you confirm you understand recording laws and third-party platform rules in your location.
Does OfferAlly store my interview audio?
OfferAlly does not store raw audio recordings for product features. Interview audio and transcript data are processed ephemerally to return responses. If you message Ally in the support chat, those support chat transcripts may be stored and reviewed by the founders for follow-up and support quality. See the Privacy Policy for details on subprocessors and data handling.
Can I use OfferAlly on macOS?
Not yet. The current beta is for Windows 10 and 11 only. A macOS build is in progress and you can join the waitlist from the pricing page.
