1. Account and payment information

We process account identifiers, email address, license status, credit balances, consent choices and payment references to operate your account. Clerk provides authentication and Stripe processes payments. OfferAlly does not receive your full payment-card number.

2. Job profiles and AI requests

Your desktop job profiles, CV or résumé, job descriptions and prepared answers are stored in local settings on your device. They are not automatically synced between devices. When you request a generation, the relevant question, context and prepared material are sent to our service and the configured AI provider to produce the response. Draft bank generation also sends the context needed for the draft.

Live features capture audio from your chosen device and stream it directly from the Windows app to Deepgram for transcription. OfferAlly authorizes access using temporary tokens. OfferAlly does not keep raw audio recordings as a product feature. Service providers process data under their own terms and retention settings; this policy does not promise that all provider processing has zero retention.

3. Response retention and local history

Generated responses are retained for retry/replay for 24 hours after completion or failure. They then become unavailable for replay and are removed by hourly cleanup. Minimal billing and idempotency records remain so that requests and charges can be reconciled without retaining answer content. This describes the operational store; it is not a promise of immediate deletion from infrastructure backups.

Local interview history is off by default. If you enable Save interview history on this device, transcripts and generated responses may be saved on your computer. Turning the option off stops future history saves; it does not remove files already saved. You control deletion of local settings, backups and history.

4. Support and operational records

Messages you intentionally send through support chat or email may be retained and reviewed by the OfferAlly team to resolve problems and follow up. Do not send full license keys, unnecessary CV details or other people’s private information. We retain account, billing, consent and security records while needed to provide the service and meet applicable legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and operational requirements.

Speech authorization uses account identifiers, session identifiers, expiry timestamps and request counters to check access and limit new session requests. These records do not contain audio or transcripts. Session records expire when the app stops renewing them or reaches its session time limit; expired records and request counters are removed by hourly cleanup. Account deletion removes that account’s speech session records.

5. Optional analytics and advertising measurement

Essential cookies support authentication and your saved choices. Product analytics and advertising measurement have separate opt-in choices. You can use your account with both off.

With product analytics consent, PostHog receives selected usage events, a pseudonymous account identifier and purchase information to help us improve the product. Automatic session recording is disabled. We do not send CVs, job descriptions, transcripts, generated answers, passwords or license keys as analytics event content.

Optional analytics also connects public landing pages and search or referral sources to account signup, successful assistant use and verified purchases or refunds. We store the public page path, referring hostname and bounded campaign labels for up to 90 days in your browser and our acquisition store. Full referring URLs, URL query strings and advertising click identifiers are not saved in that store. Withdrawal removes this acquisition record and stops pending analytics delivery; account deletion removes the account’s analytics records.

With separate advertising-measurement consent, Google Ads tags may be loaded when configured to measure download clicks and verified purchases. This can involve advertising cookies, click attribution, transaction identifiers, purchase value and currency. Personalized advertising is disabled in this implementation. Google describes its processing at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Declining optional advertising prevents the Google tag from loading. Your choices are saved for up to six months and, when signed in, associated with your account for server-side analytics. You can withdraw or change them at any time: Cookie settings. Withdrawal does not undo processing already carried out with consent.

6. Service providers and international processing

Core providers include Clerk (accounts), Stripe (payments), the configured hosting and database services, Deepgram or other configured transcription providers, OpenAI and/or Groq for model inference, PostHog for optional analytics, and Google for optional advertising measurement. Relevant information is shared only for the service being performed. Processing may occur outside your country; applicable contractual protections and provider settings govern those transfers.

7. Why we process information

We process information to perform our contract with you, operate and secure the service, prevent abuse, keep financial records and provide support. Optional analytics and advertising measurement rely on your consent. We may also process information when required by applicable law.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to particular processing. Contact info@offer-ally.com from your account email. We may need to verify your identity. You may raise a concern with your relevant data-protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
