OfferAlly is a product owned and operated by Clarity Ledger Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16321734). In these documents, "we", "us", or "OfferAlly" refers to Clarity Ledger Ltd.

OfferAlly processes personal data in line with UK GDPR principles for security, minimization, and transparency.

Clarity Ledger Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number C1885557.

1. Data We Collect

We may process account data, payment records, resume or context text, support chat content, and usage logs.

  • Account details (handled via Clerk).
  • Payment and billing records (handled via Stripe).
  • Resume and job-context text you provide.
  • Ephemeral audio/transcript streams during active usage.
  • Support chat messages you intentionally send to Ally.

Payment data is handled by Stripe. Authentication is handled by Clerk. We do not store full card details.

2. Audio and Transcript Handling

OfferAlly processes interview audio and transcript text ephemerally to generate real-time guidance.

OfferAlly does not store raw audio recordings for product features and does not use your interview transcript content to train public AI models.

This ephemeral handling does not apply to support chat conversations you intentionally send to Ally. Support chat transcripts may be stored and reviewed by the founders for follow-up, support operations, and service quality.

3. Why We Process Data

We process data to provide the service, validate license access, manage credits, process payments, maintain system reliability, and provide support.

Our legal basis for processing this data is the performance of our contract with you (delivering the software), and our legitimate interest in improving our product and preventing fraud.

4. Processors

Core processors include Clerk (identity), Stripe (payments), and model/transcription providers required for inference and speech processing.

  • Clerk: authentication and account management.
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • Deepgram: real-time transcription (where configured).
  • OpenAI and/or Groq: language model inference.
  • PostHog: Used for product analytics and session recording to help us identify UI bugs. We do not record passwords or sensitive financial inputs.

5. Cookies and Session Replay

We show a cookie banner before loading analytics cookies. If you accept, we use analytics cookies to understand how users navigate and use OfferAlly so we can improve product quality.

We use session replay for UX debugging and issue diagnosis. Replay tooling is configured to mask sensitive input fields and to exclude marked sensitive UI regions from capture.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, but analytics visibility and some experience optimizations may be reduced.

6. Retention

We retain account and billing metadata while your account remains active, and as needed for legal, fraud-prevention, and operational records.

Support chat transcripts may also be retained so we can review dropped conversations, follow up on unresolved support issues, and improve support quality.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data.
